JAMMU, May 21: A man died today of head injury after he fell down from a moving tractor in Mishriwala area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the deceased identified as Amit Kumar (30) son of Beta Ram, resident of Deharan (Kanachak) allegedly fell down from a moving tractor at Mishriwala this morning.
“In the mishap, Amit received serious head injury. He was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors,” the official said, adding the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites after completion of all medico-legal formalities.
Kanachak police has registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
