RAJOURI, July 29: An elderly man was drowned in a river at Nowshera in district Rajouri today.
The deceased has been identified as 67- year-old Durga Singh, son of Madan Lal, resident of Nowshera.
The family members claimed that Durga had gone to the nearby river in the morning for bathing and went missing. A villager noticed the body lying at the bank of the river and then informed police. The police shifted the body to hospital at Nowshera and started investigation.
