JAMMU, Dec 24: A 32-year old man drowned in Ranbir Canal in Satwari area of the winter capital here today.
As per reports, 32-year-old Avtar Singh, son of Manjeet Singh of Belicharana drowned in the Ranbir Canal in Satwari area.
The body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after postmortem, the body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant sections has been registered and investigation started.
