UDHAMPUR, Sept 5: A young man was electrocuted at his residence in village Jandror in Ramnagar tehsil, here today.
A police spokesman said that the incident took place during the afternoon when 43-year-old Birbal, son of Kamlu, resident of village Jandror in Ramnagar, was doing some electric work at home.
He sustained severe electric shocks and turned unconscious. The family members and villagers rushed him to Ramnagar hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Later, the body was sent for postmortem. The police after completion of all the legal formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to family members.
