RAMBAN, July 23: A man was found hanging with rope in Failti area here today.
Police sources informed that on getting information that a man was lying dead under suspicious circumstances, cops from Police Station Ramban rushed to the spot and shifted the body to District Hospital Ramban for postmortem and other legal formalities after which the dead body was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.

Police identified the deceased as Jia Lal, 30, son of Krishan Lal, resident of Sawani, at present Failti.
In this regard Police has started inquest proceeding under Section 194 BNS at Police Station Ramban.
Meanwhile, family members of the deceased alleged that he was killed by his in-laws as relations between the deceased and his in-laws were strained.
They have appealed to the senior Police officers to intervene into the matter and informed that the deceased was residing at in-laws house for the last two years.
Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Ramban, Dr. Virender Trishal said that the man was brought dead to DH Ramban early in the morning.
