JAMMU, Mar 18: A man died after being hit by a scooter near Jammu University gate close to Gujjar Nagar bridge, falling under the jurisdiction of Bagh-e-Bahu police station.
As per police sources, a person identified as Mohan lal, son of Hans Raj, a resident of Bagh-e-Bahu died on spot after being hit by a scooter close to Jammu University gate near Gujjar Nagar bridge.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the deceased to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where after completing legal formalities, the body of the victim was handed over to family members for last rites.
Bagh-e-Bahu police has taken cognizance in this regard.
