JAMMU, Oct 27: A man was killed this evening at Phalain Mandaal area of city outskirts after the trolley of a tipper falls on him allegedly due to mechanical failure.
According to a police spokesperson, Subhash Chander (36) son of Bachan Lal, a resident of Narsingpur in Pargwal area of Akhnoor and a driver by profession, was killed when while unloading, the trolley of his own tipper falls on him due to mechanical failure.
The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where post mortem on it will be conducted tomorrow.
A case in this connection has been registered at concerned police station and further investigations are underway.
