JAMMU, Jan 14: A man died today after he fell down from a train in Channi area and was ran over by it.
According to a police official, the deceased was identified as Gulshan Kumar (47) son of Om Parkash, resident of Talab Tillo. He said according to the eyewitnesses the man fell off from fast moving Bhatinda Express at Km 95.3 in Channi area this morning and was crushed to death by it.
He said the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for conducting postmortem while a case in this connection was registered at police station GRP Jammu and investigations started.
