Bhaderwah, Apr 1: A man allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with a Village Defence Committee (VDC) weapon of his son in village Himote, a police official said.
The deceased has been identified as Devinder Kumar (55), son of Amar Chand, a resident of village Himote.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the body of the deceased has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Bhaderwah Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
