JAMMU, Sept 13: A man has been booked for trying to rape woman in Chinore area here today.
As per police sources, a woman lodged a complaint with Police Post Chinore stating that a man identified as Mohammad Iqbal, a resident of Chinore allegedly tried to rape her.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 257/2021 under Sections 376 and 511 IPC has been registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
