JAMMU, June 12: RS Pura Police booked a man for illegally extraction of minerals from river Tawi beds.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by Sham Lal, son of Brij Lal, a resident of Badyal Brahmana with Police Station RS Pura stating that a man identified as Madan Lal Sharma, son of Duni Chand, a resident of Chak Aslam with the help of officials of Geological and Mining Department is illegally extracting minerals from river Tawi beds and also running a damper at Chak Aslam.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 112/2020 under Section 4/21 MMRD Act has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
