JAMMU, May 31: Bahu Fort Police booked a man for carrying banned polythene bags.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Bahu Fort led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari and SP South Mamta Sharma laid a naka and intercepted a Mahindra load carrier bearing registration number JK02AR-0713.
During checking, police team recovered around 17 quintals of banned polythene bags from the vehicle.
The Pollution Control Team was informed about the recovery and accordingly the driver of the vehicle identified as Lal Hussain was booked.
