JAMMU, Feb 2: A man allegedly tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Reshamgarh Colony, falling under the jurisdiction of Bakshi Nagar police station.
As per reports, 35-year-old Surinder Singh, son of Sharan Singh of Reshamgarh Colony consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, family members rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
A case has been registered at Bakshi Nagar police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
