Man attacked with sharp edged weapons

JAMMU, Apr 3: A man was grievously injured after two brothers attacked him with sharp edged weapons in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, over some old enmity two real brothers identified as Ashok Kumar and Parveen Kumar, sons of Madan Lal, a resident of Phinder area falling within the limits of police station Miran Sahib, today attacked one Nasib Chand (age around 55) son of Dhana Ram of Phinder, Miran Sahib.
In the attack, Nasib Chand received serious injuries on his both legs and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition was stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
In this connection, a case under Sections 341, 323, 34 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act was registered at police station Miran Sahib and efforts were on to nab the accused brothers, who were absconding.
