UDHAMPUR, May 5: A man was assaulted and left critically injured by his own brother over a land dispute, here today.
The incident took place at Ward number 10 in Udhampur when the victim, identified as Chuni Lal, son of Birbal, resident of Subash Nagar, was hit by his brother Sunil after some altercation between them over some property dispute.
The injured was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur while Police has registered a case in this connection.
Meanwhile, eight goats were crushed to death by a speeding truck on the National Highway near Samroli, here today.
