JAMMU, Feb 24: Kanachack Police arrested a man and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor bottles from his possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Kunal Singh Jamwal and assisted by PSI Sohail Sheikh under the supervision of SDPO Domana Sunil Singh laid a naka at Kalashey Chak area and apprehended a man along with 85 bottles of illicit liquor.
The arrested person was identified as Sanjay Kumar, son of Girdhari Lal of Kalashey Chak, Tehsil Marh, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 20/2022 under Sections 48(a), 48(f) and 50(1) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
