JAMMU, Oct 26: Gandhi Nagar Police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on reliable information a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar laid a naka near Nai Basti and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered 80 quarters of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him,
The arrested person was identified as Joginder Lal, son of Madan Lal, a resident of Makwal Satwari District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 289/2021 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation started.
