JAMMU, Sept 1: Gajansoo Police arrested a man with large quantity of illicit liquor bottles.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Border Police Post Gajansoo led by ASI Manjeet Singh laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02CA-1844.
During checking, police team recovered 50 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Darshan Lal, son of Isher Dass, a resident of Gajansoo, Tehsil Marh, District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 128/2021 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
The arrest and recovery was made under the supervision of SHO Kanachack Inspector Vishav Partap Singh and SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul.
