JAMMU, Jan 7: Kanachack Police arrested a man along with illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Police Station Kanachack led by SHO Inspector Vishaw Partap Singh laid a naka and intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AA-5812.
During checking, police team recovered 12 bottles and 1 quarter of illicit liquor from the possession of the rider and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Jinder Kumar, son of Pala Ram, a resident of Kangrail Tehsil Bhalwal, district Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 4/2021 under Section 48 (a) Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
