RAMBAN, Feb 10: Ramsoo police arrested a man along with large quantity of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, a team from Ramsoo police station apprehended a bootlegger along with 11 bottles and 10 pouches of illicit liquor at Makarkote.
The accused has been identified as Vinod Kumar, son of Baghat Ram, a resident of District Kishtwar. He is an employee of Navyuga Const-ruction Company, Banihal.
A case under FIR Number 6/16 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station Ramsoo and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Ramsoo police station Inspector Mohammad Amin made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Banihal Mohammad Rafiq and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
