JAMMU, May 22: A man has been arrested for snatching purse of a lady in an area, falling under the jurisdiction of Nowabad police station.
As per police sources, a lady namely Babna Dhar, wife of RK Dhar, a resident of Shiv Nagar was on evening walk, when Vivek Khajuria snatched her purse and tried to escape from the spot.
The lady raised hue and cry and the passerby nabbed the accused.
The accused was later handed over to police.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
