JAMMU, Nov 26: Domana police under ‘Operation Amrit’ arrested a man for selling illicit liquor pouches.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Domana Police Station raised a naka and caught a person along with 100 pouches of illicit liquor, which he was carrying for selling among the people to make illegitimate profits.
The arrested person has been identified as Puran Chand, son of Rattan Chand, a resident of Tiko Tahra Suhanjana, tehsil Marh.
A case under FIR Number 359/17 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Domana Inspector RS Rana made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana Verinder Singh and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
