KATHUA, June 18: Marheen police arrested a man and recovered 58 pouches of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Marheen Police Post led by SI Vishal conducted a raid in village Banyari and apprehended a man along with 58 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Ajeet Kumar, son of Rougle Dass, a resident of Bakral Colony, Marheen.
A case under FIR Number 152/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered and investigation started.
