DODA, Mar 16: Bhaderwah police arrested a man and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, during checking at Domail, a team from Police Station Bhaderwah intercepted a pedestrian, who was trying to escape on seeing cops.
During checking, police recovered 37 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Bansi Lal, son of Jamait Ram of Banjoi, Tehsil Bhalla.
A case under FIR Number 28/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Bhaderwah and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bhaderwah Inspector Muneer Khan made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
