JAMMU, Aug 19: Gharota police arrested a man along with 36 pouches of illicit liquor.
As per police sources, a team from Gharota police station apprehended a man along with 36 pouches of illicit liquor from village Karmanda. He was selling the illicit liquor pouches among the people.
The arrested person has been identified as Such Lal, son of Kasala Ram of Madhya Pradesh, at present Bhara Mour.
A case under FIR Number 78/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Gharota police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Gharota Inspector MA Giri made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
