UDHAMPUR, Apr 22: Majalta police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, during patrolling at Mourian Dhar Road, a team from Majalta Police Station apprehended a person and recovered 38 pouches of illicit liquor from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Sandokhu Ram, son of Dhanu Ram, a resident of Majalta.
A case under FIR Number 30/18 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Majalta Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Majalta Inspector Urfaan Parveez made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Ramnagar Jagdev Singh Slathia.
