JAMMU, Feb 8: Kanachack police arrested a man and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor pouches from his possession.
As per police sources, a team from Kanachack police station arrested a man along with 50 pouches of illicit liquor.
The accused has been identified as Sikander of Halqa.
A case under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered against the accused at Kanachack police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Kanachack Inspector Rajesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Domana SK Sharma and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
