RAMBAN, Apr 6: A man has been arrested for raping a deaf and dumb girl.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a man hailing from Panthyal area with Police Station Ramban stating that a person identified as Abdul Qayoom, son of Mohammad Din of Panthyal raped his deaf and dumb daughter.
Acting over the compliant, a case under FIR Number 46/2020 under Section 376 IPC was registered at Police Station and arrested the accused.
The girl was handed over to legal heirs after conducting medical examination at District Hospital Ramban.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
