JAMMU, Mar 26: A man was booked and arrested today for launching a physical attack on two doctors in Surgery Ward of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
According to Incharge police post, Sub Inspector Mohd Tufail, the accused identified as Surjeet Singh son of Milap Singh, a resident of Janipur, had gone in the hospital to get some medical bills of his patient signed where he got engaged in a verbal dual with two doctors including a Registrar and a PG doctor in Surgey Ward over some issue. After heated exchanges, he launched a physical attack on the doctors and injured one of them.
The Bakshi Nagar police has arrested the accused and a case under Sections 341, 332 and 353 has been registered against him while further investigation in the case is going on.
