SRINAGAR, Mar 20:
An accused, arrested in connection with the murder of his brother recently in Anantnag district, escaped from the police station early this morning.
However, he was re-arrested later today, official sources said.
One Ghulam Nabi Bhat resident of Mala-Akad, Anantnag was arrested for killing his brother recently.
Early this morning, he escaped from the ploice station.
Sources said some policemen were suspended.
The police spokesman said this evening that the accused jumped the boundary wall and escaped under the cover of darkness at 0530 hrs.
Police parties were rushed to different parts of the district to nab him.
Bhat was later arrest from a house at Srigufwara, the spokesman added. (UNI)
