JAMMU, Jan 28: Chairman, Legislative Council Amrit Malhotra today re-constituted the House Committee which is looking into the issue of conversion of the residential areas into commercial in violation of Master Plan in the cities of Jammu and Srinagar.
Devender Singh Rana has been nominated its chairman while Murtaza Ahmad Khan, Jugal Kishore, B. R. Kundal, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool and Mohammad Ashraf Mir as its members.
Mr Malhotra also reconstituted the Select Committee in respect of the Transworld Muslim University Bill, the Sheikh-ul-Aalam Research University Kashmir Bill and Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa University Bill.
Devender Singh Rana has been nominated as chairman of the Select Committee, Murtaza Ahmad Khan, B. R. Kundal, Sheikh Ghulam Rasool, Ravinder Kumar Sharma and Syed Asgar Ali, as members for the Committee.
