JAMMU, Sept 29: Malhotra Mohalla Businessmen Association in a meeting here today under the chairmanship of Chander Mohan Gupta and Vaid Sharma Election Commissioners held the elections of the association.
Rajesh Sharma proprietor R K Toys was elected as president by securing 47 votes. He defeated Vijay Kumar by a margin of 10 votes as Mr Kumar got only 37 votes.
V K Verma of Verma Jewellers was elected as vice president by securing 45 votes. He defeated Jeet Raj proprietor Sonu Sewing Machine by a margin of eight votes.
Sandeep Gupta alias Prince of Prince Matching Center was elected as general secretary by securing 65 votes. He defeated Rajiv Vaid by a margin of 47 votes. Sanjay Sharma of Cool Cosmetic was elected secretary after defeating Harsh Arora by a margin of seven votes.
Bharat Bhushan of Bushan Footwear was elected as cashier unopposed.
