JAMMU, Nov 1: Chairman, Legislative Council, Amrit Malhotra inaugurated renovated lanes in Mohalla Kanji House in Ward No. 7 here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Malhotra congratulated the people of Ward No. 7 for renovation and repair works of lanes in their area and added that Government is committed to development of all areas of the State. He assured that repair works would also be conducted in rest of the Christian Colony, Ward No. 7 for betterment of the area.
The Chairman also assured the people that under the Centrally sponsored scheme of the Government, Rs. 50,000 would be provided for marriage of girls belonging to poor families living in the area, besides, a dispensary would also be established for treatment of ailing people.
