SRINAGAR, Oct 5: A meeting of Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the Legislative Council today met to discuss the revised calendar for the sittings of 107th session of the Legislative Council.
The meeting was presided over by Amrit Malhotra, who is Chairman of the Legislative Council. Threadbare discussion was held on the Business during the session.
It was informed that 20 calling attention notices have been received out of which 6 have been taken so far. It was also informed that 7 half an hour discussion under rule 53 and one two and half hour discussion under Rule 60-A has been received by the Council Secretariat so far.
Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Mohammad Sagar, Legislators, Murtaza Ahmed Khan, Jugal Kishore and S. Dharam Bir Singh besides Secretary Council, Mohammad Ashraf Mir and Deputy Secretary Council, Mohammad Maqbool Bhat attended the meeting.
