JAMMU, Mar 6: District Congress Committee (DCC) Jammu Urban president Vikram Malhotra has asked the party workers to gear up for coming elections.
Addressing a meeting of Block Congress Committee of Block No.1 held today at Sarwal, Jammu. Malhotra asked all the DCC and BCC functionaries to gear up themselves for the forthcoming Parliamentary/Assembly elections, which will be announced shortly. He said that all the committees down to booth levels would be strengthened further in order to gear up the Urban district for the ensuing elections in the State.
He asked the party functionaries to go to the people at the grass root level and explain them the failures of BJP both at the Centre and State. He said BJP was only exploiting the people through its false propaganda.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Kanta Bhan PCC vice president, Dr RK Khajuria, Gourav Chopra, Vijay Sharma, Som Dutt Sharma, Jai Pal, Sikander Khan, Ricky Dalotra, Renu Baloria, Camres David (Babloo) and Prashotam Mehra.
