JAMMU, Jan 15: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes in the overall personality enhancement of its cadre, so as to help in development of a diverse political leadership for the country, former minister and senior BJP leader, Priya Sethi said.
She was speaking at a programme organised by Durga Mandal of BJP Kashmir displaced district at Durga Nagar Bantalab near here, today.
Nine topics were discussed in detail during the program and training was imparted to the Mandal and booth activists.
Priya Sethi and BJP UT spokesperson, Ajay Bharti, district president, Chand Ji Bhat and Mandal president, Ashtosh Ji addressed the Karyakartas on the occasion.
Former minister spoke on the topic of personality development in which the leader specified the behaviour of the Karikartas to be noble and kind.
Sethi spoke on the various aspects of the life of Swami Vivekananda and asked the workers to adopt a plethora of learnings from the personality of the great spiritual figure that he was.
This will help in development of your overall personality and consequently the welfare and betterment of this great nation, she added.
“BJP’s ideology is different from other political parties as it is focused around the national interest. In a democracy, a strong and unbiased leadership is very crucial. The BJP being a cadre-based party believes in holistic and continuous personality development of its workers as that will help in developing diverse political talent among its cadre,” Sethi said.
Touching upon the various aspects of the personality of Swami Vivekananda, Priya Sethi asked the BJP workers to adopt a plethora of learnings from the great spiritual figure.
Speaking about her own learnings from Swami Vivekananda, Sethi asked the workers to be realistic about their lives and work on evolving themselves, continuously.
Ajay Bharti former MLC and spokesperson BJP J&K while speaking on the topic of Vichar Parivar emphasized on the ideologies of the party and its Karyakartas.
He added that one should identify and overcome his shortcomings, and asked the workers to remain flexible in life always and not to compromise on the principles. He exhorted the party workers to learn and adopt new technology to keep up with the changing times.
