Make Pouni Open Defecation Free: Tehsildar to people

REASI, July 21: Atleast 65 mutations were attested in favour of various persons, which were pending since decades in a meeting convened by Tehsildar Pouni Rajesh Baru at Patwar Halqa Laiter.
More than 400 people hailing from villages Bhambla, Laiter, Dubb Jagir, Dadoa, Bhagote Jagir, Bhagote Khalsa, Ghai Jagir, Kot Jagir and Sadhote Jagir participants in the meeting.
On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Reasi Ravinder Kumar, this was the second public grievances redressal-cum- awareness camp convened by Rajesh Baru Tehsildar Pouni at Laiter.
Various issues were projected by some locals and ex-sarpanchs like erratic water supply in schools, unscheduled electricity cuts, shortage of staff in schools and sanitation facilities in and around Bhamla chowk.
Tehsildar gave patient hearing to all the issues and passed necessary directions to all concerned sectoral and block heads to take all feasible steps to solve the genuine grievances of the public.
He also made people awareness about various schemes launched by the Government and directed Niab Tehsildar Pouni and AEO Pouni to convene special camps for maximum enrollment under PMFBY from July 24 to 28 alongwith representatives of banks and officers of Agriculture Department.
Baru further aware the masses about the ill effects of open defecation and appealed to all the participants to contribute in making Tehsil Pouni Open Defecation Free.
Besides this, 13 land dispute cases were also solved on the spot, 27 income certificates and 23 category certificates were also issued during the camp.
BMO Pouni Rashpal Singh also made people aware about various health schemes.
Rajesh Baru Tehsildar Pouni and Narinder Kishore, District Coordinator SVEEP also made awareness among all participants for enrolment as a voter whosoever is completing 18 years of age as on January 1 2017.
BDO Pouni, SHO Bhamla, AEEs AEs and JEs of PDD, PWD, PHE, PHE Mechanical, PMGSY besides various block and sectoral level officers attended the meeting.
