JAMMU, Oct 27: Senior Congress leader and member civil Society Kishtwar Sham-sher Singh Bh-andari has demanded Degree College Padder should start functioning from the next Academic Session so that the students of this far-flung area are not put to hardships for higher studies.
Talking to reporters here, today, he said the Government has already made announcement for opening of college at Padder and it should set up a deadline for making it functional.
He also demanded that Government should take effective steps for opening of Nursing College at Kishtwar, Mother Child Care Hospital, fill up vacant posts of doctors and start air service from Kishtwar to Jammu besides construction of airport at Kishtwar. The construction of sports Stadium be also started at Kishtwar and street lighting of road from Hasti to Malepet.
