JAMMU, Sept 19: Abdul Majid Khan, president of All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation, has expressed his serious concern over the State Government’s purported move to retire employees after 33 years of service or 60 years of age, whichever is earlier.
In a statement, he called upon the Government to desist from doing and warned that the Federation would resist any such move.
Mr Khan demanded reduction in qualifying service to 20 years in view of raise in the upper age limit for recruitment to enable the employees to earn full pensionery benefits. He also demanded enhanced monthly Medical Allowance to the employees and pensioners.
