A number of casual labours from SM Farm Chinore, Chakroi, Agri Workshop and Seed Processing Plant, participated in the protest and raised slogans against the State Government policies towards Casual labours.
While addressing the gathering, S Amrik Singh, chief spokesman of the Association and  senior leader of  the  Employees Joint Action Committee,  urged upon the State Government to  frame a Policy for regularization of all casual labour who  were  engaged  after 1994 and have been continuously working. The demand of casual labour is already in the agreement which was held on 15-9-2011 in between Joint Consultative Committee (J C C) and State Government, he said and added that the regularization of casual labour of Agriculture Department was genuine and perfect case because their wages are continuously being drawn on Muster Sheets through Government Treasury.
More over the complete Bio Data /record  of 251 casual labours of the Department  as per the performa required by Finance Department  and Administrative Department  for regularization is already lying with the Committee framed by the State Govt for regularization of C/L, he further said.
Uttam Chand Sharma,  president of the Association,  expressed strong  resentment over the wrong policies of the Government   towards casual labours and  Daily Wagers, who are not being  regularized. The basic work of the Agriculture Farms, Agriculture Workshops and Seed Processing Plant is running through these casual labours and  Daily Wagers from the last 25 years due to the shortage of permanent Staff, but still they are struggling for regularization.
The others, who spoke on the occasion, included Zaffar-ul-Khan, Rajinder Kumar, Rajan Sharma, Ravi Kumar, Tilak Raj, Ganesh Sharma,  Avtar Chand and Sanju Sharma.
