JAMMU: Maj Gen Ashwani Kumar today took over as General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the elite Tiger Division.
In a simple ceremony, outgoing GOC Maj Gen Surinder Singh handed over the charge to Maj Gen Kumar, a defence spokesman said.
Maj Gen Kumar had commanded an Air Defence Regiment and an Infantry Brigade and also served as Deputy General Officer Commanding of a Division in JK. (Agencies)
