Maize remains weak on subdued demand

NEW DELHI, Apr 30:  Maize prices fell further by Rs 5 per quintal in lacklustre trade on the wholesale grains market today owing to subdued demand against adequate stocks position.
However, other grains including wheat and rice basmati held steady in limited deals.
Traders said besides subdued demand, adequate stocks position mainly kept pressure on maize prices.
In the national capital, maize shed Rs 5 to Rs 1,375-1,385 per quintal.

Wheat, MP (deshi) 2,115-2,315, Wheat dara (for mills) 1,515-1,525, Chakki atta (delivery) 1,525-1,530 Atta Rajdhani (10 kg) 220, Shakti bhog (10 kg) 220, Roller flour mill 830-850 (50 kg), Maida 840-850 (50 kg) and Sooji 900-925 (50kg).
