Mahila Congress unveils its new logo design, flag

JAMMU, Sept 29: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Mahila Congress organized a function at Community Hall Jewan Nagar to unveil its new logo design and flag of the Mahila Congress, here today.
On this occasion, the Pradesh Mahila Congress also released a booklet ‘Sachai Aapke Dwar’.
The function was held under the leadership of Pradesh Mahila Congress president and former MLA Indu Pawar wherein a large number of activists of Mahila Congress attended the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Indu Pawar called upon the party activists to educate people in general and womenfolk in particular about anti-poor policies of the BJP led NDA Government.
She exhorted women to come on the streets to oppose anti-poor policies being pursued by the BJP Government just to fulfil the interests of corporate houses. “BJP led NDA Government is insensitive to problems being faced by an ordinary citizen in day to day life and seems busy raising prices of essential commodities and imposing taxes on the commoners”, she regretted.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Vandana Makhnotra, Suman Choudhay and Reeta Kanojia.
