JAMMU, June 11: In order to fulfill the desires of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan an amount of Rs 97,500 was disbursed to poor, downtrodden Mahajan families by Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha.
The amount was disbursed through the president of the Sabha Vinod Gupta and secretary general, Chander Mohan Gupta with the help of other office bearers of the Sabha among the widows and poor students of the community.
The Sabha pledged to carry forward the path shown by Lala Hans Raj Mahajan for the betterment of the society in general and Mahajan community in particular.
Further a Committee was also constituted to carry out the verification of genuine deserving cases and for the enhancement in financial aid to needy persons.
