Mahajan asks BJP activists to work in tandem with Tpt authorities

JAMMU, Mar 30: Rakesh Mahajan in charge All Cells BJP J&K today asked party’s Transport Cells to work in tandem with the local Regional Transport Authorities to clear the prevailing confusion with regard to re-registration of vehicles of other states.
He was chairing a meeting of BJP’s Transport Cell here at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar. State convener BJP Transport Cell, Ashutosh Gupta and conveners of four districts including Jammu East, Jammu West, Kathua and Akhnoor were also present in the meeting.
Rakesh Mahajan expressing concern over unscrupulous elements creating confusion in the minds of general masses over the seizure of vehicles registered outside the UT of J&K said that onus of clearing apprehensions of people regarding the aforesaid issue lies with BJP’s Transport Cell and therefore all the regional transport offices need to be roped in for making things clear on ground.
The senior BJP leader asked the different district conveners of the Cells of BJP to immediately mobilize their resources to clear the misconceptions prevailing among masses. He also asked the four district conveners present in the meeting to constitute sub committees in their districts to bring vibrancy into Transport Cell and make conducive atmosphere to render better services to the people. He said liaison with local transport authorities holds the key to resolve issues of people on priority therefore every effort should be made to act as a bridge between people and the Government institutions.
Ashutosh Gupta, while speaking resolved to strengthen the Transport Cell at the grassroots level by involving prominent people and taking their advice to provide people-friendly facilities and services.
BJP office secretary, Tilak Raj Gupta and senior party leader Rajeev Charak were also present in the meeting.
Later in the meeting, Kuljeet Singh, president J&K Auto Union along with his supporters joined the party fold. He was welcomed by Rakesh Mahajan. Kuljeet said that BJP under Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has become a force to reckon with and there is no other party which has credentials like this political movement which has brought revolutionary changes in the country after coming to power.
