JAMMU, Nov 6: The Varshik Yagya was performed by Kashmiri Sahayak Samiti Trikuta Nagar on the occasion of Kartik Purnima today.
The hawan started yesterday evening and concluded with Puranahuti this afternoon.
A large number of biradari members participated in the religious function and they were served with prashad after Purnahuti.
A hawan on the occasion of Kartik Purnima was performed by Ganesh Mandir Prabhandak Committee Dhanav Bagund in Kulgam district at Geeta Bhawan here today. The hawan was performed under the supervision of president of the Samiti Jagmohan Bhat. The hawan started yesterday evening and Purnahuti was performed this afternoon which was followed by serving of prashad to devotees.
