JAMMU, July 28: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha today organized a Maha Mahajan Parivar Millan at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road Jammu, which was attended by more than 600 members of the Mahajan community from J&K and other parts of the country.
Mahajan community representatives from Arnia, Akhnoor, Bari Brahmana, Bishnah, Barnoti, Chhan Arorian, Kathua, Samba, Ramnagar, Gobindpura (all from J&K) and Sujanpur, Pathankote, Mukerian, Jallandhar, Ludhiana, Kapurthala, Amritsar, Batala, Dina Nagar, Bhanghala, Faridabad, Delhi, Agra and Himachal Pradesh participated in the function, which was presided over by Prof Chaman Lal Gupta, former Union Defence Minister.

Mahajan Rattan T R Gupta and Ex President of Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha was the chief guest on the occasion while the dais was shared by Romesh Chander Gupta (president of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha), Jangi Lal Mahajan, Yash Pal Gupta, Jugal Mahajan and Ranjinder Gupta (Jallandhar).
Romesh Chander Gupta, in his welcome address, highlighted the ongoing developmental activities of the Sabha which are praise worthy and thanked the team of his office bearers for doing its best to serve the Mahajan community and upholding the flag of the Sabha.
T R Gupta, in his address, said that Mahajan Biradari is supreme and it will remain so in future also. He appreciated community leaders and offered his selfless services for the cause of Mahajan community.
Jangi Lal Mahajan stressed that we should follow the foot prints of Lala Hans Raj Mahajan and Justice Mehar Chand Mahajan. He highly praised the role of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha and offered his selfless services to bring peaceful and cooperative atmosphere in the working of the Mahajan community. He hinted that there are a few selfish leaders who want only Mahajan Bhawan Haridwar for their own selfish end.
Jugal Mahajan, Chief Patron of the Sabha, said that many evils have crept in Mahajan community and we should make every possible effort to fight against these evils. He further said that those who create trouble in the smooth working of the JCMS must be dealt with firm hands.
Yash Paul Gupta compeered the program and presented vote of thanks. The function concluded with Shanti Path and community lunch.
