Maha- Gathbandhan and by elections

Shiban  Khaibri
At the outset, Election Commission of India deserves kudos and encomium as well, that all EVMs were found “genuine”, and the ones which were used in the polling booths of those constituencies where the BJP was trounced, though it did not lose its share of votes in comparisons.  The results again showed that our brand of democracy has “triumphed” and in the words of Surjewala Ji of Congress, “Peoples’ resounding reply to the politics of lies, hate and division.” Delhi’s Chief Minister Kejriwal terming the results of the bye polls as “lot of anger against Modi Government, today people say remove him first.” Brimming with Socialism or Samajwad, Akhilesh Yadav terms the defeat of the BJP as “the beginning of the end of egoistic power.” The vanquished but graceful Mriganka Singh of the BJP who lost the prestigious  Kairana seat by a few thousand votes said , “The alliance has emerged stronger, with a lead of few thousands, the alliance has won, I congratulate the winner, we have to prepare ourselves better for the future.” Home Minister Rajnath Singh while giving a philosophical reasoning for the defeat said, “For a big leap, you have to walk a few steps back.”
Many intellectuals, writers and analysts have variedly commented on the defeat but most of them, otherwise Modi bashers, found yet another occasion to lavishly disparage and besmirch him taking the ploy or the alibi of “his policies” which  are criticized without suggesting an alternative because the aim is to criticize Modi and bring down the euphoria of his followers. “He must now deliver” is a general phrase used by many moderates. Everything under the sky is demanded like removing employment, controlling price rise , addressing farmers’ distress, more of water, cheap – if possible free electricity, cheap but better medical care, free education , even  pollution free air and what not which all these 67 years were kept in hibernation. All these things are demanded from him knowingly, being fully aware that such demands were never possible to be fulfilled in a short span of a few years in a country where population explosion has already occurred, it is another thing if we are not conveniently hearing its thud plus where corruption has seeped into every sphere with varied magnitude. The political hypocrisy and contours of all out war against Modi is such that all those who are pitching high such demands to embarrass him, never put them  before Dr. Manmohan Singh for 10 long years or asked him to explain for not having succeeded in doing anything within those magical 100 days of promised turnaround in the economy.
Those 100 days were never reckoned from any starting date to any last day just to “protect” a) secularism, b) democracy and c) the coalition Dharma.  How much price India and the gullible but cast ridden people of India shall have more to pay for defending this peculiar secularism and democracy? Tukday Tukday Gang was very much  then also there, Not in my name Gang was there very much , Award Wapsi Club was  being “properly looked” after  but they too kept silent which meant their unconditional acquiesce of the train of scams , irregularities and massive corruption. Why all of them turned so “active” since 2014 ? Clergies were then comfortable and all in cheerful mood unlike now when  Archbishop of Delhi issues letter for mass prayers and observing of fast for the country “passing through turbulent atmosphere” so that a secular government is voted to power in 2019  (or Modi is defeated). Ask him how he measured the turbulences and whence this happened and why not the doors of the judiciary were knocked at which opens even in the dead of the night. Entire secular brigade is silent on politicizing the religion in such a manner by the Archbishop and supported by higher clergy. Instead, there is massive support because so long as anything works in “removing”  or definitely blocking Modi’s chances to make it again in 2019,  is nice, legal, justified and permitted.
Now, if any Seer, Shankracharya or any other Hindu religious leader issued a counter diktat, all hell will break loose. Circumstances and conditions are being created for such eventualities which shall have a retributive constellation and such an effect that shall prove harmful for the country which is endangered by two belligerent neighbors. Please contain this hate campaign against one person and against an ideology, it will beget hate and the result will be alarming for the sustenance of democracy.
Can there be any worst instance of Goebbelian lies than Rahul Gandhi blaming Modi and RSS for civilian deaths in Tuticorin by saying, “Tamils were massacred because they refused to submit to RSS philosophies; Modi’s bullets and those of the Sangh can never crush the feelings of the Tamil people.” Even sworn adversaries of Modi must be wondering, though in the hearts of hearts, what connect with a plant emitting harmful emissions, peoples’ agitation and Police firing had with RSS and Modi –  that also in a state where both BJP and RSS were not having any presence.  Rahul said, “Massacre of Tamil people”. Note the words – Tamil people, Tamil feelings, etc.  Surjewala was replied by his Party boss who spoke lies and in whose lies lay hate in heaps.
Attacking and denigrating the RSS at the drop of hat by Congress, particularly by Rahul Gandhi appears to be under a grand design to inflict a gloom across lacs of its followers hence attempting to do another insult to Hindus intentionally the way he felt more threatened with Hindu terror (as spoken to the American Ambassador) than from the JeM, LeT and other terror organizations .That is tantamount to playing with fire.
See Congress’s ally Trinamool Party top leader Mamta Banerjee when asked about the Tuticorin killings just simply saying, “I express my condolences for the bereaved ones” and not a word against the AIADMK or the state police or those responsible for the episode. Had this happened in any BJP ruled state, the reactions from every corner would have been phenomenal, horrifying with all out country wide protests. In West Bengal, an 18 year Dalit boy Trilochan Mehto was hanged  by a tree and on his T- shirt was written, “Followers of the BJP will meet the same fate.” Did any protest take place, any condemnation or any camping over there? Vemula episode handlers and protestors are dumb silent because their protests will upset their applecart of alliance to pin down and defeat Modi in 2019.
That was an issue of far greater importance than mourning the killing of this Dalit follower of the BJP. Where is Modi hate leading the political alternative of this country to? Will an alternative to Modi , the Kichdi sarkar provide stability, vision and direction to this country or at least that much which Modi has been successful to provide? The common goal of hate by so many against one Modi , would amount to committing political Hara-kiri .
One who sees in Modi a real transformation, a real start of massive turnaround in economy, a planned liberalized economic policies, building economy on sound parameters, a climate of ease of doing business, zero tolerance to corruption , a state policy to strengthen armed forces and equip them with state of the art weaponry, a real leadership qualities to give practical shape to development of all , renaissance of Indian civilization etc is aghast seeing the show buzzers of Bengaluru bonhomie vast brigade with no cogent better economic policies. Yes, they can get oil from countries like Iran on credit and sell it at subsidized rates and gain short term Wah Wahi but who will repay that debt later ?
