JAMMU, Aug 13: Lok Vikas Dal (LVD) president, Vikram Singh Slathia has expressed concern over the growing drug menace in Jammu region.
In a meeting here today Slathia said that most of the victims of drug menace are young students.
He quoted a news report to say that 80 per cent of the drug addicts are below 30 years of age and 70 per cent of them are students.
Slathia appealed to the Governor S.P Malik to seriously do something in this regard.
Kuldeep Singh, Mani Ram, Sunil, Rakesh Kumar, Attar Singh and others were also present in the meeting.
