JAMMU, Aug 24: National Conference (NC) State vice president of Women Wing and former MLA, Bimla Luthra has expressed concern over the burning issues of Sarore Toll Plaza, Prepaid Smart Meters and Property Tax.
Addressed NC workers in a meeting here today at Dalpatia Mohalla, Luthra said that people of Jammu region are fed up with proxy governance by BJP in J&K and its “anti-people policies”.
She asserted that collecting money in the grab of Toll at Sarore, imposing Property Tax and issuing highly enhanced and faulty power bills to consumers in J&K is not only objectionable but also illegal.
She exhorted the women to strengthen NC at grass-root level. Those who were present in the meeting were Rita Gupta, NC vice president Central Zone; Pinky Khalsa, District president Women Wing Jammu Urban; Dr. Amina and others.
